JUST FOR FUN !
Fosters Bakery operates to the “BRC” Global food standard Issue 5. We have a grade A - UNLIKE the bakery drawn by our artist.
We gave our artist the food safety rule book and told him to include as many hygiene & safety bloopers as he could. See how many food safety problems you can spot in the chaotic picture below.
You may also spot a few people who look familiar too!

Fun Question: What does the acronym HACCP stand for?
(a) Help ! Another Crazy Consultancy Ploy.
(b) Hurrah ! All Carefully Controlled Products.
(c) Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points.
Answer: Possibly all of the above.
HACCP is a food safety management process where a team of Fosters people look at the possible hazards involved in the whole supply chain of the products, they decide which are the really important ones and then put the right controls in place.
We occasionally encounter food safety consultants that would try to make the process appear more complicated than it is so as to drum up business for themselves - (though most are great food techies like us) In the end it is a big Hurrah! because the process does make for safer food controls.
Our favourite food safety consultants (not at all crazy) are the “Regional Food Group” find them on our Friends page.
