Be advised that many trains do not stop at Darton.

BARNSLEY station is 3 miles away and is on the branch line between Sheffield - Leeds. This Station has taxi's and busses to Mapplewell. Occasional Intercity trains travel to Barnsley from St.Pancras.

The quickest route to Mapplewell from London is from KINGS CROSS station to WAKEFIELD WESTGATE on the East Coast main line. Wakefield is a small but busy intercity station with taxi's. It is 7 miles away from Mapplewell and believe it or not the taxi driver may never have heard of Mapplewell. This is because Wakefield is in West Yorkshire and we are in South Yorkshire just over the border.

Give us a telephone call and we'll meet you at the Station by car.
