Fosters Bakery embodies both quality and tradition but is also always forward thinking both in our willingness to integrate new technologies into this traditional industry and in our progressive employment policies. Our bread making process are slower than the normal UK bread which makes for a better taste and texture.
We make SOURDOUGH bread too - which takes several days to make.
Whether it’s meeting health guidelines, avoiding certain allergens or additives, boosting flavour and giving character to a menu item, our expert bakers can design bespoke breads to fit restaurant individual requirement.
The main Towngate bread bakery operates a “no nuts” policy. We don’t allow any nut products on site but we operate a separate smaller bakery at Blacker Road, Mapplewell that makes all our nut lines like Almond slices, hazelnut shortbread and bakewell tarts.
